Participants will:
- Recognise the role of creativity and arts in learning and well-being
- Use storytelling techniques across subjects and age groups
- Design arts-integrated activities linked to curriculum goals
- Support participation of diverse learners through multimodal expression
- Develop strategies to assess learning in creative projects
- Build a personal repertoire of arts-based classroom practices
Day 1 – Why creativity and arts in all subjects?
- Introductions and expectations
- Exploring definitions of creativity and arts integration
- Experiencing a short arts-based learning activity as participants
- Reflection: barriers and opportunities in our contexts
- Setting personal learning goals
Day 2 – Storytelling as a universal tool
- Elements of powerful stories and narratives
- Storytelling techniques for different subjects (science, history, languages, etc.)
- Pair and group work: creating short educational stories
- Sharing and feedback
- Reflection on student voice and identity
Day 3 – Arts-based methods: visual arts, drama and movement
- Practical workshops in two or more art forms
- Translating abstract concepts into visual and embodied expressions
- Group work: designing a short arts-integrated activity
- Peer testing and refinement
- Discussion: inclusion and SEN through arts
Day 4 – Designing cross-curricular creative projects
- Connecting arts with curriculum objectives and key competences
- Planning small projects (e.g. exhibitions, performances, digital stories)
- Roles, timelines and assessment strategies
- Designing rubrics and reflection tools for creative work
- Peer feedback on project drafts
Day 5 – Implementation, assessment and sustainability
- Managing time, resources and collaboration with colleagues
- Documenting and showcasing student work
- Involving families and local cultural actors
- Finalising participants’ projects or sequences
- Sharing portfolio of activities
Day 6 – Celebration and next steps
- Gallery walk / mini-festival of participants’ ideas and creations
- Reflection circle: personal shifts and insights
- Identifying opportunities for international arts & culture projects
- Evaluation, Certificates of Attendance and closing ritual
